A few restored footage of the small town of “Nerja” (or rather small village…) in the province of Málaga in southern Spain. Originally shot on 8mm film in 1972 and 1973, digitised, cropped and colour enhanced.
Considering how the city has changed over time (more videos will follow), it is important to preserve such old recordings.
As video software gets smarter and smarter and modern PCs have more and more processing power, I definitely plan to upscale this video footage – possibly even to 4K? Let’s see what I can still get out of these old recordings 😏
